About Reign of War
The Reign of War project originally spawned from an even
larger game called Gundam: Mobile Suit Arena. Premiering in Novemeber of 2003, Eracentric was created from the aftermath
destruction of the former Era Creations Network. Now expanding its expertises from solely Starcraft and Warcraft
Eracentric and her staff were determined to bring quality over quantity.
In August 2001 a new website called Era Creations was started. It was a relatively small yet dedicated site which hosted
maps, campaigns, and modifications for StarCraft, a game created by Blizzard Entertainment. As the months went on it grew
and expanded. December 2002, Eddie Fernandez, a freshman in high school, founder and webmaster of Era Creations,
began work on a new project entitled Mobile Suit Arena out of pure disgust of the online-game OutWar. The project's
development was on and off, spanning over seven different versions across its life cycle. Eddie's vision of MSA eventually
grew out of his hands. He knew he did not have the skills or knowledge to bring
the idea online - yet. He decided to freeze all production on MSA and founded Eracentric, the scion of Era Creations.
He then create the Evolution plan, a program which would help him aquire the skills required to bring about Mobile Suit Arena.
The development of Reing of War wasn't the original intent of its creator. The project spawned from the Evolution plan,
being the second step. Inspired by DarkThrone, WarCraft III, and Dawn of War, he began work on the Reign of War RTS
on December 2004. Joining him were four colleagues, Miroslaw Rogowski, Isagani Puertollano, Lawrence Chan, and
Joseph Agbuya. Serving as primary testers, their main duty was to find bugs and submit ideas to Eddie. Joseph was then
recruited to work on a new race, the Insights. Soon after Cristina Rivera joined the team and began to head the art
department for the Celendrias race. In November 2005 Tyree Lavant and Jandy Baluyot began work on the sixth race, the
Syrivus.
